By visiting our site or using any of our services, including requesting quotes or engaging in a project, you are entering into a “Service” agreement and agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“Terms”), as well as any additional policies or terms referenced within this document or linked from it. These Terms apply to all users of the website, including visitors, clients, contractors, and contributors of content. Please review these Terms carefully before using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the website or its services. Any access or use of the site constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

New features, tools, or services added to the website are also subject to these Terms. The latest version of the Terms of Service is always available on this page. We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. General Conditions

We reserve the right to deny service to anyone at our discretion, for any reason, and at any time. You acknowledge that any content you submit (excluding payment information) may be transmitted over various networks in an unencrypted form and may be modified to meet technical requirements of these networks or devices. All credit card and payment information is securely encrypted during transmission. You agree not to reproduce, copy, duplicate, sell, resell, or exploit any part of our services, the use of the services, or any content available through the website without our express written consent. The section headings in this agreement are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation or enforcement of these Terms.

General Services of Project

If you approve the estimate, a 30% deposit is required on the day WM & LJ Tile and Remodeling begins work. A progress payment of 30% will be due at the end of the second week, and the remaining balance will be due after the final walk-through and completion of the punch list.

If any unexpected issues arise during the project, we will discuss them with you before proceeding. Additional costs may apply in such cases. We will use a dust containment system during demolition and construction, which typically reduces about 90% of dust, though some dust may be unavoidable. Our normal working hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., but we can extend hours if approved by you. Once the project begins, our team will be on-site daily until completion, unless extenuating circumstances occur, in which case you will be informed. If an item cannot be installed due to logistics or circumstances outside our control, payment will still be due for the work completed, excluding the labor cost for any item that could not be installed.

The estimate includes tile sizes from 3”x6” subway tile to 24”x24” porcelain tile. Larger tiles, patterned tiles, glass, or natural stone may involve additional costs, depending on size, pattern, or material.

The estimate DOES include all rough materials such as 2x4s, drywall, mud, tape, thin set, tools, Hardie backer, primer, screws, nails, wiring, plumbing pipes, electrical boxes, plywood, and similar items.

The estimate DOES NOT include finish materials like tile, grout, Schluter products, vanities, lighting, switches, plumbing fixtures, faucets, shower heads, tubs, mirrors, medicine cabinets, fans, or topcoat paints. If needed, we are happy to pick up these materials for you at no extra charge. All materials must be on-site or ready for pick-up before we can begin. If you would like us to handle ordering or selecting materials, please let us know when you approve the estimate. The cost of these materials will be added to the final invoice, and any returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

All payments for labor and services should be made payable to WM & LJ Tile and Remodeling.

Modifications to Services and Prices

Product and service prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of our services or website content at our discretion, without notice.

User Comments, Submissions, and Other Feedback

If you submit materials to us—whether in response to a request, such as contest entries, or voluntarily, including ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other content (collectively “Submissions”)—via our website, email, mail, or any other method, you agree that WM & LJ Tile and Remodeling may use, reproduce, publish, distribute, translate, and adapt those Submissions in any medium, at any time, without limitation. We are under no obligation to keep Submissions confidential, provide compensation for them, or respond to them. While we may review, edit, or remove content that we consider, at our sole discretion, unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable or that violates intellectual property or these Terms of Service, we are not required to do so.

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that your submission does not violate the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights. Submissions must not contain unlawful, abusive, obscene, or harmful material, including viruses or malware that could interfere with the website or our services. You agree not to submit content using a false identity, misleading information, or to impersonate another person. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of any Submissions you provide, and we assume no responsibility or liability for any content submitted by you or other users.

Limitations of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee that your access to or use of our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors. We make no assurances regarding the accuracy, reliability, or results that may be obtained from using our services. You acknowledge that we may suspend, modify, or discontinue the service at any time, temporarily or permanently, without prior notice. Your use of, or inability to use, the service is entirely at your own risk.

All services, products, and content provided through our site are offered “as is” and “as available,” unless explicitly stated otherwise. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
